| Mai comes off as a self-centered girl who is bored with everything life has to offer. She seems as though she couldn't care less about anything that's going on and does just enough in her classes to pass with high marks, though she never answers questions unless she has to and always sounds as though she has more important things to do. Deep down, Mai cares about her friends and the people she's close to. She's loyal to a certain extent and not that easy to manipulate unless there's something in it for her. She does what she wants when she wants to in general, though she's always aware of what is going on around her, even if she doesn't really care about it. She doesn't hesitate to fight against someone who has angered her, no matter the cause or the consequences. |

| Mai grew up in a house of wizards. An only-child, she was doted on quite a bit and became distant with everything around her with the deaths of those closest to her. Her parents were the first to die, though she never heard what from, and after she was sent to live with her cousins, she took steps to close her emotions off from the world. She grew distant and accustomed herself to not letting people know what she was thinking. When she turned 11, she received the letter of acceptance to Hogwarts and her family sent her off in the hope that she would learn to be more flexible. Four years later, nothing has helped. Mai remains at Hogwarts to finish her wizarding education. |
